Following the devastating earthquakes on February 6, 2023, the 400-bed Kahramanmaraş Emergency Hospital was constructed to strengthen the healthcare infrastructure in the region and was opened in early 2025. Built with a steel construction system to be earthquake-resistant, the hospital is equipped with modern medical devices to provide comprehensive healthcare services to the residents of Kahramanmaraş.
The hospital was built on a 97,000 square meter area and includes 86 outpatient clinics, 12 operating rooms, 81 intensive care beds, and an angiography unit.
In the first 1.5 months after its opening, the hospital served 48,000 patients, playing a significant role in meeting the healthcare needs of the region.
